Typhoon Mysteries

Many of you loved the mysterious music of Catherine Brisset and her cristal Baschet, seen with Aurora (#9 released on Halloween).

So, an interesting reprise: Same music, but now with Typhoon Nepartak over the South China Sea. Immensely powerful and dangerous, yet surprisingly serene from above.

French musician Catherine Brisset plays the cristal Baschet, a unique glass keyboard with fanciful metal shapes to help the mysterious sounds resonate. Here, she plays a variation on Bach’s Sonata #2, the Grave movement, with such subtle and emotive touch.

Sadly, about 200 people died and $1.9 billion damage in China, Taiwan and the Phillipines.
