Ocean Music
Ocean Music - Robert Jacobson
May 30, 2025
How arrogant of humans to think we make the only music!
So. . .enjoy Ocean music
As we fly over the Pacific coast of California and Mexico, let’s listen to the sounds of whales, dolphins, snapping shrimp and more, recorded in those same waters. The view from above and the sounds from below.
Special thanks to space industry visionary Robert Jacobson, project lead, and the underwater recording engineers and libraries of nature sounds:
Laguna San Ignacio Ecosystem Science Program
Macaulay Library of Cornell University
Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute
Ocean Networks of Canada
Fly-over movie by astronauts of ISS 53.
We anticipate more Earth movies with sounds of nature – with glorious bird songs next in the plans.
We might think of Earth as one harmonious symphony of life!
Please love and care for Earth.
