Bach’s Motets are incomparably beautiful. The voices soar with joy and reverence, especially in this recording by Solomon’s Knot, a British ensemble.

Here we present “Lieber Herr Gott, wecke uns auf” (Dear Lord God, wake us up) by Johann Christoph Bach, the older cousin of Johann Sebastian Bach. The Bach family was indeed full of musical genius.

The Caribbean is equally beautiful, with its aquas and blues, islands and clouds, and the distant horizon! Astronaut Don Pettit (ISS 72) took these stunningly beautiful photos during 10 minutes of flight time!

Don is still on orbit, and we look forward to more of his superb photos (he did last week’s SpaceX Dragon Dreams)
